Born 13 years after Vance, Valaria was only a couple months old when her mother died. After Vance left to join the KGB, Valaria was raised solely by her father. When he took ill, Valaria was the one who cared for him while Vance ran around failing to accomplish anything. When their father died, Valaria blamed Vance and vowed to "make his life a living hell." She spent the following years molding herself into a better fighter than Vance, all the while tracking his movements and intercepting him at crucial moments. She puts forth all her energy into anger at Vance, though that anger can be directed, usually lethally, at others as well.
