Once a florist, Frank Knapf soon found that he had a talent of making things go "boom" when he accidently set fire to some potassium nitrate fertalizer stored in the storage room and blew up his shop, injuring himself and several passing circus elephants. Running from the angered ring master, Frank hopped on the first flight away from his home planet of Bennennium Prime Zeta Delta, which happened to take him directly to a SOS training facility. Here, his "talent" led to his assignment of Lead Tank Commander. After the War of Ingious Gamma Meta Beta, Frank was promoted to SOS Commander, and upon the reappearance of Luther Von Lupin, assigned to Alpha Squad.
